Four loops of Michigan forest singletrack starting alongside the 100 Mile
The Happening 100K covers four loops of the 16.6-mile single-track circuit through the Pinckney Recreation Area, with shortcuts that bring the total distance to approximately 100 kilometers. Starting alongside the 100 Mile at 2PM Friday, runners navigate rooty Michigan singletrack and rolling forest trails through the night and into Saturday. Aid stations every 3–6 miles and full hot food at the Hog Farm base camp keep runners fueled on every lap.
