The longest race of the festival. It goes through the Tolmin Gorges, past Tolmin Castle on Kozlov Rob and the Grofova voda spring, then along the Soča River. It climbs Mengore hill, passes the lake at Most na Soči and the Senica viewpoint, and finishes with a wade through the Tolminka River at the confluence. There are 8 aid stations and intermediate cutoffs at Gabrje, Most na Soči and Senica.

Dogs may run on a leash. The runner must start at the back of the field. A runner who places top three with a dog gets no ranking. Dogs are welcome at the venue and campsite on a leash.
Festival campsite 200 m west of the main venue, open Fri 13:00 to Sun 17:00. Basic setup: chemical toilets, outdoor showers, no electricity or water hook-ups. Book it in the race registration. Camper and car sleeping area at the tent price. Nearby campsites: Siber, Labrca, Gabrje; further toward Kobarid: Koren, Lazar, Rut.
Late June in Tolmin is usually hot and humid in the valley, often near or above 30°C by the afternoon. Afternoon thunderstorms are possible, and the higher hills on the route can be much cooler. The festival has cancelled a race for heat before (the 50 km in 2026).
