A demanding Jura long-trail through Switzerland's most famous canyon
Other trail races within 88 miles
One of the most varied and demanding long-distance trail races in Europe, the 81K covers 82.7 km through the Swiss Jura with 3,491 m of climbing. The course shares much of the 111K route including the ascent of Chasseron and passes through the Creux du Van before dropping back to Couvet. A life base at Noirvaux (km 45) allows a bag drop. The 27-hour cutoff and 6 AM start mean significant night running for slower runners.
