Trail Alsace Trail des Celtes

A 47km Celtic trail starting in Barr and climbing into the Vosges forests past the castle ruins of Landsberg and Birkenfels. The route ascends to Mont Sainte-Odile — a revered spiritual and cultural landmark — then tackles the legendary Heidenkopf summit, steeped in Alsatian elf legends. A fast vineyard descent leads through the Romanesque town of Rosheim before the finish on the ramparts of Obernai.
