Trail Alsace Trail des Pèlerins

The Pilgrims' Trail — 29km from Barr up through ancient Vosges forests, past the castle ruins of Landsberg and Birkenfels, and along the sacred Chemin de Croix (Way of the Cross) to Hohenbourg Abbey atop the legendary Mont Sainte-Odile (753m). A wild descent past the hushed ruins of Niedermunster Abbey leads to a finish on the ramparts of Obernai.
