The flagship ultra distance of the Zugspitz Ultra Trail festival — a demanding 107-kilometer loop around the Zugspitze massif starting and finishing in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. With 5,280 meters of climbing through steep alpine passes and technical singletrack, this race packs in the full Zugspitze mountain experience. A late-night start at 10 PM adds to the adventure, with runners navigating high alpine terrain by headlamp before finishing sometime Saturday. One of Germany's most prestigious 100K trail races.
