Arc of Attrition Arc 50

The Arc 50 is a 50-mile point-to-point race along the South West Coast Path from the dramatic clifftop setting of The Minack Theatre at Porthcurno to the finish at Porthtowan. The route sweeps around Land's End and Cape Cornwall, through the old tin-mining heartland of Pendeen, the remote headlands above Zennor, the estuary lowlands at St Ives, and up the north Cornish coast to Portreath and the finish. No support crew permitted — runners must be fully self-sufficient, carrying mandatory kit, managing 2,550 metres of elevation on rugged coastal terrain in January conditions that will include running in darkness.
