Summit the volcano twice — compact distance, full alpine experience
Other trail races within 116 miles
A two-loop mountain route on Mt. Bachelor that delivers the race's signature summit experience in a compact package. Loop 1 climbs the east face to the 9,000-foot summit and descends the rocky West Ridge to Pine Marten Lodge. Loop 2 retraces the climb from West Village to Pine Marten and finishes with the Evergreen Trail descent. The course features the same dramatic above-treeline views and technical volcanic terrain as the 50K, with 4,200 feet of gain over 17.9 miles.
