A 101-mile PCT loop through the Cascade lakes between Mt. Jefferson and Mt. Hood
Other trail races within 93 miles
Mountain Lakes 100 is a 101-mile loop through the heart of the Oregon Cascades, running almost entirely on the Pacific Crest Trail between Mount Jefferson and Mount Hood. Starting and finishing at Olallie Lake Resort, the course winds through a stunning landscape of alpine lakes, old-growth forest, and terrain still recovering from the 2020 Lionshead fire. With 11,700 feet of gain and loss, technically rocky sections, remote wilderness stretches with no cell service, and a 30-hour cutoff, the race rewards with jaw-dropping scenery, dozens of Cascade lakes, and exceptional volunteer support. Go Beyond Racing's mandatory 8-hour trail work requirement reflects the organization's deep commitment to the trails it uses.
