10 miles straight up Bear Creek Canyon to ski resort summit views
Other trail races within 61 miles
A spectacular 10-mile loop showcasing the best of Telluride's high alpine terrain. Runners ascend the dramatic Bear Creek canyon from downtown Telluride, climbing steadily until clearing treeline and summiting at the top of the Telluride Ski Resort, where 360-degree views stretch deep into the San Juan Mountains. The descent follows doubletrack and singletrack back through the ski resort and into town. Despite its shorter distance, the 3,500 feet of vertical gain on a single sustained climb and the high-altitude exposure make this a serious mountain race best suited for experienced trail runners.
