Deep Creek Half Marathon

The Deep Creek Half Marathon is a point-to-point trail run set against the spectacular fall landscape of the San Juan Mountains near Telluride, Colorado. Starting at the Telluride Regional Airport on Last Dollar Road, runners descend through open terrain before dropping into the Aspen-filled Deep Creek drainage, where golden singletrack winds through old-growth aspen groves back toward town. The course covers approximately 13 miles with 3,100 feet of elevation gain at altitude throughout. The race traditionally takes place in late September at the peak of fall color season, making it as much a visual experience as an athletic one, finishing at Oak Street Park in the heart of downtown Telluride.
