Starting at Fort Tuthill County Park south of Flagstaff, the Flagstaff Crest 40 runs 39.1 miles through the Coconino National Forest along the Arizona Trail and Flagstaff Loop Trail to finish at Heritage Square in downtown Flagstaff. With the highest singletrack percentage of all Cocodona distances (69%), this event is a showcase of Flagstaff's world-class trail network at 7,000+ feet elevation — a scenic, high-altitude trail race for runners who want to experience the Cocodona finish without the multi-day commitment.
