The Grindstone 50K offers 31 miles combining singletrack and fire road running, giving runners a taste of both the 100K and 100-mile courses with just over 5,000 feet of gain. Starting Saturday morning from Natural Chimneys, the route climbs Wolf Ridge and Sand Spring Mountain, then returns via Narrow Back Mountain to the finish at the limestone chimneys.
