What Makes It Great

A flat and fast fixed-time ultra on a USATF-certified 500-meter crushed gravel loop at historic Nardini Manor in Buckeye, Arizona. Runners log as many laps as possible in 24 hours on this fully exposed desert track, battling daytime temperatures well over 100°F before cooler—but still sweltering—overnight stretches in the 80s. With crew access directly on course, a fully-stocked aid station every loop, and the option to set up a personal staging area trackside, runners can focus entirely on accumulating miles. Course records are held by ultrarunning legend Yiannis Kouros (149.13 miles, 2005) and Stephanie Ehret (130.49 miles, 2003).
