Five loops of Fruita's world-class desert singletrack through canyon country
Other trail races within 105 miles
The 50 Mile is a multi-loop journey across the North Fruita Desert's celebrated singletrack, weaving through high-desert terrain with sweeping views of Colorado National Monument and the distant San Juan Mountains. All loops include the fast, flowing lower trails before climbing the steep pitches of the Zippity-Do-Da Trail. The loop structure brings runners back to the central hub at miles 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50 — offering regular crew and drop bag access throughout the race. November timing delivers crisp desert air and minimal heat, though later runners will finish in the dark.
