What Makes It Great

A challenging 50-mile loop through the Wet Mountains of Colorado sharing much of the 100-mile course. Runners climb from Pueblo Mountain Park through dense fir and spruce forests to nearly 11,700 feet before descending through the dramatic transition to the arid western slopes. The course mixes singletrack trail, forest roads, and dirt highways through remote terrain with limited cell service.
