What Makes It Great

The Mingus Traverse 80 runs 79.8 miles from Watson Lake Park in Prescott through the Black Hills, over 7,800-foot Mingus Mountain, down through the historic mining town of Jerome, across the Verde Valley wine country, and into Sedona, finishing near the red rock formations at the Sedona Ranger Station area. The course follows the Prescott Circle Trail, passes through Dead Horse State Park, and delivers stunning transitions between distinct Arizona ecosystems.
