Quad Rock 25 Mile covers a single clockwise loop through Lory State Park and Horsetooth Mountain Park, gaining 5,500 feet across 25 miles of mostly singletrack trail. The course winds through exposed ridgelines with the Great Plains to the east and Longs Peak to the west, connecting some of the most beloved trails in the Fort Collins trail running scene. A well-organized, festive event with a full post-race meal at the Soldier Canyon finish.

Dogs are not allowed on the course with runners.
Backcountry campsites available within Lory State Park, each requiring a 2–3 mile hike from the trailhead. No overnight parking at the start/finish area. Nearest developed car camping is the KOA off Hwy 287/Poudre Canyon; campsites with facilities also at south end of Horsetooth Reservoir (~10 miles away, book early).
Early May on Colorado's Front Range brings varied conditions. Race day temperatures at the 7am start are typically in the mid-40s°F, warming to the mid-60s°F by midday. Afternoon thunderstorms and muddy trails are possible. Carry a light layer for the early miles.
