30 miles of mining history through Silicon Valley's best trail park
Other trail races within 127 miles
The Quicksilver Endurance Runs 50K is a 30.3-mile loop through Almaden Quicksilver County Park, sharing the first and final sections of course with the 100K sibling race. Starting at 7am from the Hacienda entrance, runners climb 6,000+ feet through historic mercury mining trails — past the old rotary furnace at English Camp and through the New Almaden Trail's finest singletrack — before looping back to the finish. With a single intermediate cutoff at McAbee Aid Station (mile 22), the course is accessible to trail runners building up to longer distances while still offering a true challenge.
