Ridgeline views to the Pacific, 7,000 ft of coastal climbing, and no pacers or crew
Other trail races within 117 miles
The Sonoma Coast 50K winds through the trails and fire roads of Sonoma Coast State Park, climbing from fern-draped redwood canyons to an exposed ridge with sweeping views of the Pacific. The course summits Red Hill, threads through five aid stations, and returns to the ancient redwoods of Pomo Canyon Environmental Camp. No crew or pacers allowed — a genuinely self-reliant effort on one of California's most scenic coastline parcels.
