Technical first half gives way to flowing forest trails — no intermediate cutoffs, all-weekend festival
Other trail races within 69 miles
The 50K traces a figure-eight loop through the National Forest and private Scout Ranch land, visiting the Elkhorn and Lady Moon trail systems on its way out and back. The first 10 miles offer more technical terrain before connecting to the flowing, runnable trails of the Forest Service system. No intermediate time cutoffs — anyone who completes the course is a finisher. A great entry point into the Jamboree experience, with access to the full camping and community atmosphere of race weekend.
