The half marathon uses the Lady Moon and Elkhorn trail systems on a smooth, mostly dirt out-and-back loop from the Scout Ranch. Moderate climbs and no intermediate cutoffs make this the most accessible of the Jamboree distances. Closes out the three-day trail running weekend on Sunday morning, with a Kids' Race following at 11:30am.

Primitive campsites and cabin rooms available Thu–Sat at Ben Delatour Scout Ranch. Campsites have tent pads, bear boxes, running water, and pit toilets. Cabin rooms are in 6-plex buildings with bunk beds, lights, electricity, and heat (BYO bedding). Modern bathrooms and warm showers at the Coral Rock Dining Hall and shower house. Add-ons available during registration. Community dinner Thu–Sat, brunch Sunday, nightly campfire.
