A pure uphill challenge covering 10 kilometers and 1,830 meters of vertical gain from the valley floor at Fiesch to the summit of Eggishorn at 2,926 meters. Runners ascend steep switchbacks and rugged alpine paths to one of the most spectacular finish lines in the Alps, with a 360-degree panoramic view of the Matterhorn, Jungfrau, Eiger, and the Aletsch Glacier below. A free gondola ride returns finishers to the valley.
