A lollipop loop through Tillamook Forest with waterfalls, ridge views, and endless singletrack
Other trail races within 88 miles
A beautifully tough lollipop loop through the heart of Tillamook State Forest, the 55K runs almost entirely on singletrack from Reehers Camp to University Falls and back. The route climbs to Bell Camp, descends through scenic Gales Creek canyon, crosses the Oregon Coast Range divide at Storey Burn ridge, and loops through the Historic Hiking Loop past University Falls waterfall before returning the same way. With 6,900 feet of gain and loss on 35 miles of soft-dirt singletrack, the course rewards runners with cascading streams, territorial ridge views, and on clear days, panoramic sightlines to Mt. Hood, Mt. Adams, Mt. St. Helens, and Mt. Rainier from Bell Camp.
