22K over the dreaded twin peaks of the Pilis mountains
The Salomon Twin Peaks Trail is a 22-kilometer challenge named for two signature summits — the dreaded twin peaks — in the Pilis mountains. Starting on May 23 afternoon from Pilisszentlászló with a bus transfer from the race center, runners tackle the characteristic ascents of the UTH course before descending through forest to the Szentendre finish near the Skanzen open-air museum. With just one aid station and a 4-hour cutoff, this shorter distance still demands respect from the hills.
