The Waterloo-Pinckney 50 (WP 50) shares the Huron 100's start at Portage Lake in Waterloo State Recreation Area and its first half, then finishes at Country Lake Elementary School in Pinckney. Runners follow the sandy, rolling Waterloo-Pinckney Trail through oak forest, then the boardwalks and marsh crossings of the Potawatomi Trail, with roughly 4,400 ft of climbing. It starts two hours before the 100 so runners can finish before dark, and the cutoff is 15 hours.
