The Medicine Bow Half Marathon is the shortest road/trail event in the Wyoming Marathon Races series, run entirely on unpaved dirt and gravel roads through Medicine Bow National Forest. The out-and-back course begins at the Lincoln Monument Rest Area on Sherman Summit and stays high, offering sweeping views of the Laramie plain and the surrounding Vedauwoo rock formations.
