Wyoming's oldest continuous marathon, held at the Lincoln Monument Rest Area on Sherman Summit along I-80 east of Laramie since 1978. The out-and-back course traverses Medicine Bow National Forest on predominantly dirt and gravel roads (77% unpaved) at elevations between 8,000 and 8,640 feet, offering challenging terrain and wide Wyoming skies.
