102 miles of Cheshire canals, sandstone trails, and castles in a single loop
Other trail races within 194 miles
A well-marked 102-mile loop through Cheshire's most iconic landscapes, weaving together the Sandstone Trail, Shropshire Union Canal, Bridgewater Canal, Trans-Pennine Trail, and North Cheshire Way. The route passes Beeston Castle, Helsby Hill, Delamere Forest, and Frodsham, backed by 12 fully-stocked indoor checkpoints serving hot food throughout. With 1590m of total elevation gain and a 32-hour cutoff, this is a welcoming but serious introduction to the 100-mile distance.
