What Makes It Great

The GTC100 is a 100km alpine odyssey through the iconic valleys surrounding Mont Blanc, connecting Courmayeur, Pré-Saint-Didier, and La Thuile via Val Veny and Val Ferret. The course climbs through dramatic high passes reaching nearly 2,830m, traverses exposed ridgelines with potential snowfields, and includes a unique mid-race life base at the Skyway Monte Bianco cable car station at kilometre 80. Starting at 10pm, runners battle through the night and into the following day across terrain shared with the legendary Tor des Géants — one of trail running's most celebrated mountain routes.
