A high-alpine 55km through Val Veny's iconic terrain below Mont Blanc
Other trail races within 77 miles
The GTC55 covers 55km through the dramatic alpine terrain above Courmayeur and Pré-Saint-Didier, winding primarily through Val Veny at the foot of Mont Blanc. The course shares the high passes of the legendary Tor des Géants — climbing to Mont Nix at 2,830m and the panoramic ridges around Col Chavanne and Col de la Seigne — before descending to the Mont Blanc Trail Fest village in Courmayeur. Highly technical with exposed sections, potential snowfields, and 3,500m of climbing, this is a serious alpine ultra requiring significant mountain experience.
