Istria 42K

A beginner-friendly trail marathon starting at the foot of Motovun, one of Istria's most photogenic hill towns. The course climbs up through Motovun before merging with the longer routes on their way to Umag and the Adriatic finish. With 1153 meters of gain and an 8-hour cutoff, it's welcoming for first-time trail runners while still covering real trail terrain — steep climbs, intact singletrack, and classic Istrian panoramas.
