Central Istrian hill towns and limestone trails from Buzet to the coast
Other trail races within 191 miles
A scenic showcase of central Istria, the 69K starts in Buzet and cuts the most direct line to Butoniga lake before joining the longer routes into Umag. It passes through medieval hill towns including Motovun, Oprtalj, Završje, and Grožnjan, mixing softer forest surfaces with the ever-present Istrian limestone rock. A great introduction to the full peninsula experience for runners stepping up from standard trail distances.
