Two full loops of Fruita's celebrated high-desert singletrack
Other trail races within 105 miles
The 40 Mile covers two complete loops of the North Fruita Desert course, combining the flowing lower singletrack with the steep, technical climbs of Zippity-Do-Da. Runners return to the central hub at miles 10, 20, 30, and 40, allowing for crew access and drop bags at each pass. An ideal distance for runners stepping up from 50K in a scenic, well-organized desert setting.
