The course mixes gnarly ridgelines, steep technical climbs, stream crossings, and smooth singletrack through meadows and dense foliage. The Mine Overlook section delivers a stunning view into Kennecott's Bingham Canyon — the world's largest man-made excavation. The route visits Butterfield Peak, the Yellow Fork canyon, and finishes on shaded Butterfield Canyon trails. Heat and sun exposure in the final miles make pacing and hydration critical.
