Runnable Wasatch alpine singletrack with sweeping views toward the Great Salt Lake
Other trail races within 199 miles
Snowbasin by UTMB 58K traverses the Northern Wasatch from sagebrush-lined ridges to dense aspen groves and open alpine meadows, with panoramic views sweeping toward the Great Salt Lake and Ogden Valley. Set at Snowbasin Resort—host of the 2002 and upcoming 2034 Winter Olympics—the route delivers a challenge that rewards rhythm and strategy: nearly 6,000 feet of elevation gain over flowing singletrack trails that are challenging without being overly technical. Runners pass through multiple aid stations with crew access at designated checkpoints, making this a spectator-friendly alpine experience. Finishers earn 2 UTMB Running Stones, and top male and female finishers gain automatic OCC qualifying spots for UTMB Mont-Blanc in Chamonix.
