Diez Vistas Ridge panoramas and 1,000m of climbing on the classic Belcarra loop
Other trail races within 125 miles
An extended loop through Belcarra Regional Park that adds the Diez Vistas Ridge to the classic Sasamat Lake circuit. After splitting from the 13km course at the six-kilometer water station, the route pushes on to the exposed Diez Vistas Ridge — one of the most celebrated viewpoints in the Lower Mainland — before descending the Lakeview Trail, grazing Buntzen Lake, and climbing back over to the finish at Sasamat Lake. With 1,000 meters of gain and technical singletrack throughout, it's a genuine test in February conditions. Commonly used as a warm-up race for CMTR's Diez Vista 50km in April, which follows the same trails.
