What Makes It Great

A demanding mountain loop through Sinks Canyon and the surrounding Shoshone National Forest in Wyoming's Wind River Range. Starting and finishing at Bruce's Parking Area at 6,100 feet, the course climbs to nearly 9,000 feet via Fairfield Ridge and the Brewer's Trail, gaining 6,400 feet total across 80% technical singletrack. Runners traverse exposed ridgelines, wildflower meadows, and the forested Middle Fork of the Popo Agie River corridor, with four aid stations spread across the 50-kilometer loop.
