Wyoming Range 100-Mile Endurance Run

The Wyoming Range 100 traces a 105-mile point-to-point route through Wyoming's Bridger-Teton National Forest, crossing the Wyoming Range and Salt River Range in some of the most remote high country in the American West. Runners start at Middle Piney Lake and immediately climb into the Wyoming Range spine, summiting Wyoming Peak at 11,378 feet before descending into the Greys River basin and climbing repeatedly into technical alpine terrain. The second half sends runners northward through rangeland, fire lookout ridgelines, and a final crossing of the Salt River Range before the descent to the Box Y Ranch finish. With 24,000 feet of gain, aid stations spaced roughly 10 miles apart, mandatory bear spray, and faint-to-nonexistent trail in alpine meadows, the WYR100 demands technical skill and self-reliance as much as endurance. The race is a Hardrock 100 qualifier, capped at 100 runners by Forest Service permit, and entry is managed through a weighted lottery.
