The 100K covers approximately 63 miles and 10,750 feet of climbing on the same high-altitude singletrack as the 100 Mile, starting and finishing at Western Nevada College in Carson City. Runners visit Snow Valley Peak (9,214 ft), Hobart, Tunnel Creek, Diamond Peak, and return via the Capital to Tahoe Trail and Ash to Kings singletrack. Sub-20-hour finishers earn a Western States 100 qualifier; all finishers within 24 hours receive a finisher award.
