A 130km point-to-point ultra from Gressoney St-Jean to Courmayeur with 12,000m of vertical gain, passing beneath Monte Rosa, the Matterhorn, and Mont Blanc on technical mountain terrain. Time barriers are set at 3.02 km/h for the slowest passages. Finishers earn a priority bib (PAX) for the 2027 Tor des Géants.

  • Crew (one assistant per runner, pass required) is permitted at refreshment points and the Life Base in Oyace only, in designated areas. Assistants cannot access rest areas, showers, or medical facilities.

Rapid Weather Changes

Conditions range from hot in lower valleys to freezing on high-altitude passes. Night sections can be significantly colder.

  • Mobile phone (always on, ringtone active)
  • Identity document or health insurance card
  • Two survival blankets
  • Food and water supply (between refreshment points)
  • Two working headlamps with spare batteries

Recommended Gear

  • Crampons (at least 8mm spikes)
  • Thermal jacket with hood
  • Waterproof shell jacket (hooded, breathable)
  • Long waterproof over-trousers, warm layers, hat, and gloves
