What Makes It Great

The Tor des Géants is a 330km loop through 34 municipalities of the Valle d'Aosta, skirting the base of the Alps' highest peaks including Mont Blanc, the Matterhorn, and the Gran Paradiso. With 24,000m of vertical gain and a 150-hour cutoff, runners choose their own rest strategy across 6 life bases — a race of both endurance and personal decision-making.

Race Highlights

Entire Region on Foot
The route passes through 34 of Valle d'Aosta's municipalities at the base of the Alps' highest peaks — Mont Blanc, Matterhorn, Gran Paradiso, and Monte Rosa — as a 330km loop.
Your Own Race Strategy
No mandatory stages — runners decide when and how long to rest across 6 life bases, competing only against the clock and their own limits.
International Field with Country Quotas
Country quotas ensure global representation. No nation exceeds 30% of the 1,100-runner field, drawing elite and amateur runners from dozens of countries.
