A 63 km mountain ultra on two of the finest high-level trails in the Swiss Valais: the Gsponer Höhenweg and the Balfrin Höhenweg. Starting in Grächen, the course descends into the Saastal, climbs 1200m onto the Gsponer Höhenweg above Saas Fee, then traverses the more technical and exposed Balfrin Höhenweg back to Grächen. Maximum altitude is around 2724m. Not a beginner's ultra — independent mountain competence required. ITRA 3-point race.
