A temperate rainforest trail adventure through Lost Lake Park in the heart of Whistler
Other trail races within 145 miles
The Whistler Half Marathon winds 21.1 kilometres through the heart of Lost Lake Park, delivering one of the most scenic trail running experiences in British Columbia. The course is 75% smooth gravel trail and 25% paved valley trail, threading through old-growth temperate rainforest, past Lost Lake, and along the Cheakamus River with glacier-capped Coast Mountains looming overhead. The terrain is non-technical and accessible to a wide range of runners, though the mountain setting and June weather keep things interesting. The race draws over 1,500 participants annually from across the Pacific Northwest and beyond, and routinely sells out well in advance.
