A steep volcanic hill climb to 8,000 feet with 90% singletrack
Other trail races within 77 miles
An intense hill climb starting and finishing at Mt. Hood Meadows, climbing 2,700 feet in just 8.9 miles — 99% of the gain packed into the first half. The course ascends from the lodge via Umbrella Trail and a rocky service road to the Ski Patrol cabin, then continues up the technical Wizard Trail through volcanic scree to the 8,000-foot turnaround before a fast descent. Short in distance but uncompromising in effort, this is a gut-check of a mountain race on par with its bigger siblings.
