Eight loops through the Pennsylvania woods — a WS qualifier that bites back
Other trail races within 177 miles
Eight loops of 12.5 miles through Brady's Run Park, a wooded county park in western Pennsylvania's Beaver County. The course rolls across rooted singletrack, gravel roads, and open hillside with a mandatory creek crossing on every lap. Starting at 4 AM, runners navigate the park through the early morning darkness before daylight arrives, then face the prospect of a second night on the back half of the field. The loop format provides frequent access to aid and crew, making this an approachable first 100 for well-prepared runners while delivering enough climbing and technical terrain to satisfy experienced ultras. As an official Western States qualifier, all finishers earn a lottery ticket for the world's most iconic 100-miler.

Late May in western Pennsylvania can bring rain; the singletrack becomes muddy and root sections slick. Trail shoes recommended.
