Ocean views and 14,000 ft of vertical on rugged Santa Monica Mountains singletrack
Other trail races within 161 miles
A rugged coastal 50-miler through Point Mugu State Park in the Santa Monica Mountains, starting from the Ray Miller Trailhead just off Pacific Coast Highway. The course relentlessly climbs and descends over nearly 14,000 feet of vertical, rewarding runners with sweeping Pacific Ocean views from high ridgelines before plunging back into deep canyons. Known for its well-marked singletrack, generous aid stations, and the unique 'drop-down' cutoff system where slower runners are downgraded to shorter distances rather than pulled from the course entirely.
