A newer addition to the Salt Flats lineup, the 100K threads through a cross-section of all the course's terrain types: salt flats, compacted desert sand, jeep trails, and mountain passes. Runners follow the same opening miles as the longer distances, then branch through the southern reaches of Silver Island via Aid Stations 10, 11, 12, and 13 before finishing back on the flats. With an 18-hour cutoff starting at 7AM Friday, the course runs well into the night.

Dogs may run on course with a registered runner who has crew support. Dogs must be leashed at the start, finish, and all aid stations.
Car camping on the Bonneville Salt Flats at the Start/Finish area in dry years. Event toilets provided. Portable fire pits only — no open fires on the salt. All ash and refuse must be taken off the salt.
