A sharp Wasatch climb and fast singletrack descent—a taste of Speedgoat
Other trail races within 159 miles
A shorter but still genuinely demanding mountain race that delivers a concentrated dose of the Wasatch terrain Speedgoat is famous for. The course climbs singletrack across the face of the Snowbird ski area, ascending the steep Chip's Switchbacks before buttery singletrack returns runners to the Plaza Deck finish. With 1,640 feet of gain in 6.2 miles above 8,500 feet of elevation, it's a solid introduction to altitude racing and mountain running for those new to the sport.
