The Trail des Coursières 50km runs point-to-point from the historic village of Saint-Symphorien-sur-Coise (one of the 'most beautiful detours in France') to the finish in Saint-Martin-en-Haut, sharing the second half of the course with the ultra. The route winds through panoramic Monts du Lyonnais terrain on singletrack and country paths. Free shuttle buses take runners from Saint-Martin-en-Haut to the start line. A UTMB Index 50K certified race with 2 ITRA points.
